Joy Carter has lived life on a knife-edge. She invites you to unpack with her scenes from her unique upbringing from overseas adoption, to working the bright lights of the London club scene as a go-go dancer to dating a mercenary. Truly Stand-up Comedy Gold! For many years her adoption into a white family defined her but this work-in-progress show explores the freedom found in being different. Expect some angry flute playing and hilarious musical comedy moments.
